Camp Counselor - Males ONLY, Female positions filled

Mentor and facilitate the cabin group experience; build friendships, teamwork, and character values with a group of 10-12 campers and a co-leader. Lead and assist with program instruction both independently and with others. Live in cabin with campers.

Camp Counselor and Sailing Specialist

Starting at $200/week

Minimum age: 18

Available positions: 2

Responsible for the day to day camp counselor responsibilities with a sailing specialty and focus when necessary. Work with other staff to get sail boats ready for use.  Plan and help execute our South Sound Sailing program – 1 week of sailing specific camp for a small group.  This program ends with an overnight sailing trip to a local location on the case inlet.  

Camp Counselor and Canoeing Specialist

Starting at $200/week

Minimum age: 18

Available positions: 2

Responsible for the day to day camp counselor responsibilities (please see above) with a canoeing specialty and focus when necessary. Work with other staff to get canoes and paddles ready for use.  Plan and help execute our South Sound Canoeing program – 1 week of canoeing specific camp for a small group.  This program ends with an overnight canoeing trip to a local location on the case inlet.  

Camp Counselor and Lifeguard

Starting at $200/week

Minimum age: 18

Available positions: 13

Responsible for the day to day camp counselor responsibilities (please see above). Additional responsibility of being a lifeguard on the waterfront at scheduled times.  On site brown water training is provided.  Must complete the 5 day training course with competence, including demonstration of strong swimming skills. 

Camp Counselor and Ropes Specialist

Starting at $200/week

Minimum age: 18

Available positions: 4

Responsible for the day to day camp counselor responsibilities (please see above). Additional responsibility of being a ropes course facilitator at scheduled times.  Site specific course training is provided to receive your level I facilitator certification.  Must complete the training course with competence. 

Teen Counselor

Starting at $200/week

Minimum age: 21

Available positions: 6

Mentor and facilitate the cabin group experience for teen campers (high school age); build friendships, teamwork, and character values with teams in our three teen programs based at camp, two of which have an off-site trip component.  For these two programs, help plan, prepare, and lead canoeing, biking, and/or sailing trips around the local area.  Wilderness First Aid or equivalent second level First Aid and CPR required.

Waterfront Director
Starting at $250/week
Minimum age 21.

Available positions: 1

Supervise the waterfront to provide fun and safe swimming and boating programs. Ensure that waterfront safety policies are being followed and that all assisting life guard trained staff are effective.  Run regular camper checks when groups are at the waterfront. Manage the overall waterfront schedule.  Run lifeguard in-services throughout the summer to keep skills up. Live in cabin with campers and staff.
