Assistant Summer Program Director-3 positions
Starting at $325/week
Minimum age: 21
Dates: June 2 to August 23

Assistant Directors provide various forms of leadership for the rest of the staff, and will also learn how to support many of the logistics of camp. Responsibilities include: coaching and giving feedback to staff; placing campers and staff in villages; facilitating the lodge during meals; responding to parents of campers; problem solving; and assessing program quality around camp. Previous experience working with large groups, or managing others in a professional setting is required.

Village Leader-3 positions
Starting at $220/week
Minimum age: 21
Dates: June 9 to August 23

Provide leadership, supervision and logistical support to 8-10 counselors (4-5 cabin groups of 10-12 campers) who live and work with campers. Provide staff with feedback, motivate them and identify chances for growth. Manage difficult camper behavior with counselors and director team. Communicate consistently with camper parents.  Plan all-camp activities; Manage staff schedules; facilitate many regular events in the program. Live in cabin with campers and staff.

Arts and Crafts Director-1 position
Starting at $220/week
Minimum age: 21
Dates:  June 9 to August 23

Responsible for planning all arts and crafts related activities for the week. Engaging with campers in the arts and crafts room. Keep a running inventory of supplies, make sure the arts and crafts room stays clean and organized, and planning arts and crafts Indy Rec for the week. Additional responsibilities as assigned with evening programming and specialty camp events.

Waterfront Director-1 position
Starting at $220/week
Minimum age: 21
Dates: June 9 to August 23

Responsible for supervising waterfront staff. Ensure safety in all aspects of program including swim checks, whale swim, mixers, indy recs, polar bear swims, and specialty camp activities around the waterfront. Engage with campers and provide a safe and fun waterfront experience. Facilitate ongoing training for lifeguard staff in the form of weekly in-services. Keep a running inventory of supplies. Additional responsibilities as assigned with evening programming and specialty camp events. YMCA lifeguard trainer certification preferred but not required. 


Camp Counselor- 32 positions
Starting at $190/week
Minimum age: 18
Dates: June 14 to August 23

Mentor and facilitate the cabin group experience; build friendships, teamwork, and character values with a group of 10-12 campers and a co-leader. Lead and assist with program instruction both independently and with others. Live in cabin with campers. Responsible for planning and facilitating cabin bonding time and indy recs throughout the summer. Additional responsibilities include weekly parent letters, values awards, and more. 
  
Camp Counselor and Lifeguard-8 positions
Starting at $195/week
Minimum age: 18
Dates:  June 9 to August 23

Responsible for the day to day camp counselor responsibilities (please see above). Additional responsibility of being a lifeguard on the waterfront at scheduled times.  On site brown water training is provided.  Must complete the 5 day training course with competence, including demonstration of strong swimming skills. 

Camp Counselor and Ropes Specialist-8 positions
Starting at $195/week
Minimum age: 18
Dates:  June 9 to August 23

Responsible for the day to day camp counselor responsibilities (please see above). Additional responsibility of being a ropes course facilitator at scheduled times.  Site specific course training is provided to receive your level I facilitator certification.  Must complete the training course with competence.  

Teen Counselor-4 positions
Starting at $200/week
Minimum age: 21
Dates:  June 9 to August 23

Mentor and facilitate the cabin group experience for teen campers (high school age); build friendships, teamwork, and character values with teams in our two teen programs based at camp, both of which have an off-site trip component.  For these two programs, help plan, prepare, and lead canoeing trips around the local area.  Previous experience coaching, teaching, or supervising in a professional setting preferred. 


Photographer-1 position
Starting at $230/week
Minimum age: 18
Dates:  June 14 to August 23

The photographer will produce a slideshow of photos (videos too!) at the end of each session. The photographer is responsible for capturing all of the amazing moments on film! Other responsibilities include daily uploads of photos to smugmug, as well as blog and facebook posts. Previous experience with digital cameras and photo editing software required. Strong interest in photography preferred.
